About the project

The Goldenpass Express has vehicles with newly-developed variable-gauge bogies and gauge changing systems. The change from metre gauge to standard gauge takes place in a few seconds via the newly-developed bogie. This means that it is now possible to travel between Montreux and Interlaken without changing trains.

As part of organising the maintenance of these trains, MOB is adapting its maintenance system in accordance with the ECM Regulation (EU 2019/779), requiring competent support and advice.

Our contribution

Enotrac was commissioned by MOB to support the introduction of the maintenance management system in accordance with the ECM Regulation (EU 2019/779). This also included taking over management of the project.

As a starting point, an analysis was carried out in which gaps in the existing maintenance processes were identified with regard to the requirements of the ECM Regulation. On this basis, the Enotrac experts were able to design a maintenance concept in which, among other things, the key tasks, competences and responsibilities were defined. This also included creating the updated maintenance processes, drafting work instructions and developing proposals for the logistics and training concepts.

Throughout the process, workshops were organised and conducted in order to integrate the competencies and needs of all stakeholders.
