Gotthard Tunnel Schweiz

Starting with the Zurich S-Bahn, the Vereina Tunnel, the new Mattstetten-Rothrist line and the Lötschberg, Gotthard and Ceneri base tunnels, Enotrac engineers have been involved in the successful design and verification / validation of most of the major infrastructure projects in Switzerland. This includes some of the first European routes to introduce cab signalling using ETCS Level 2, where safety technology has always been a fundamental component.

Enotrac is also actively involved in forward-looking projects in the fields of digitisation and standardisation of control and safety technology – both in Switzerland and across Europe – through initiatives such as Europe’s Rail, RCA, and OCORA. Our expertise also extends to the design and integration of related systems, including ERTMS/ETCS, ATO, and digital interlockings, for both onboard and trackside applications.
