Knorr-Bremse’s proven ESRA (Electronic System for Railway Applications) is being further developed. This requires the development of a new generation of the electronics platform.
About the project
Knorr-Bremse Systems for Rail Vehicles GmbH, based in Munich, is the world’s leading manufacturer of braking systems for rail and commercial vehicles. Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems Switzerland AG is responsible for sales, project planning and service of products and systems for braking, and also on-board systems such as doors and air conditioning (HVAC) for rail vehicles.
The SysControl brake system control is a further development of Knorr-Bremse’s proven ESRA (Electronic System for Railway Applications). A new generation of the electronics platform is being developed for this purpose.
Our contribution
Enotrac supports Knorr-Bremse SfS in safety management and the safety analysis of hardware and software as well as in the verification and validation of documents for the general safety case. This is produced in accordance with the CENELEC RAMS standards EN 50128 and EN 50129.
Enotrac has been working with Knorr-Bremse SfS on various projects since 2015. The mutual trust that has grown over the years enables the successful implementation of projects with demanding safety requirements.
