About the project
Before the closure began, approximately 140 foundations were laid, most of them using micropiles. When the total closure began, the entire catenary system was dismantled. Subsequently, the work for the track renewal commenced. After the new masts and crossarms had been installed, 5 km of new wire was pulled during the last week of the operational interruption. In addition, Thörishaus Station was converted to a line concept with decentralised switches on masts and crossarms.
Our contribution
Enotrac was commissioned by SBB to prepare the tender and the implementation project. In addition, our team was responsible for compiling the material lists. During the seven-week total closure, Enotrac took over construction supervision and client representation. A central component of construction management included monitoring deadlines, quality and costs. Enotrac also provided support with the acceptance and handover of the catenary system to the owner.
