The Enotrac experts have extensive experience with train control for the Swiss metre gauge ZSI127 and the resulting ZBMS standard. Enotrac can support you with current ZBMS projects on both the infrastructure and the vehicle side, from planning and engineering to integration and approval.
Enotrac also supports you with concepts, feasibility studies and migration to newer technologies such as driver’s cab signalling and ATO. Enotrac offers expertise in CBTC systems (Communication Based Train Control), also based on the IEEE standard 1474.1. These are typically vendor-specific solutions that implement many automation functions such as ATO GoA4 and offer a comprehensive system for control and safety technology – from onboard systems to the operations control centre. However, these systems are mostly used in closed areas with simplified operating conditions, with the exception of high train density or short train headways in urban solutions using moving blocks.
