Our services at a glance
Assessment of the safety relevance of changes:
Changes to systems or components are assessed in terms of their safety-related effects in accordance with the directive for the approval of railway vehicles. The classification is based on the degree of safety relevance and is divided into the categories “essential”, “high safety relevance” and “significant”.
Assessment according to CSM-VO:
For systems outside the scope of vehicle approval, our Enotrac experts apply the Common Safety Method (CSM) to assess whether a change should be classified as “significant”. Technical, operational and organisational aspects are also taken into account.
Documentation and recommended action:
Following assessment, comprehensible documentation of the classification and a proposal for further action are prepared. This may be, for example, a required risk analysis or evidence to be provided to an authority.
Support in the further process:
Enotrac will also be happy to provide you with advice and operational support as the process continues. We have the expertise to take on all tasks involved, from risk analysis and the preparation of technical evidence to communication with authorities and experts.
